   On May 18, China's first graphene film production line with an annual output of 30,000 square meters was put into operation and a new product launch conference for graphene mobile phone touch screens was held in Changzhou Jiangnan Graphene Research Institute.

Due to its various electrical, thermal and mechanical properties, it has aroused great enthusiasm for research and development in the international academic and industrial circles. Graphene with a single layer of carbon atoms, as the thinnest material, is also the material with the best electrical and thermal conductivity, and the highest specific surface area. At the same time, it has extremely high mechanical strength and flexibility, as well as good light transmission. Therefore, graphene materials are considered to have broad application prospects in the fields of touch control, display, energy storage, electronics, composite materials, etc., especially as transparent conductive electrodes in the field of touch display.

  

  The R&D team took the lead in successfully applying graphene film to the capacitive touch screen of mobile phones, and successfully realized the mass production of capacitive touch screen mobile phones in small batches and completed functional tests. After third-party testing, the performance of the graphene cell phone capacitive touch screen has reached the standard of ITO touch screen, and the reliability can meet the requirements of users.

  

Industry experts said that the commissioning of China’s first production line with an annual output of 30,000 square meters of graphene transparent conductive film and the establishment of a pilot line for the development of graphene capacitive touch screens for supply, marking the industrialization of the preparation and application of graphene materials A major step forward was taken. At the same time, the release of new products of graphene mobile phone capacitive touch screens indicates that graphene transparent conductive film and graphene capacitive touch screens have entered the market development stage. The graphene film process line only needs a simple modification of the existing ITO module process line to complete the docking, which will be very beneficial to the industrial application and promotion of graphene film transparent electrode materials in the field of touch display.

   This achievement was jointly released by Changzhou 2D Carbon Technology Co., Ltd., Wuxi Gefei Electronic Film Technology Co., Ltd., Shenzhen Lihe Photoelectric Sensor Co., Ltd. and Jiangnan Graphene Research Institute.
