For some reducer combinations with relatively high output speed or input speed, long-term high-speed operation will increase friction and generate more heat. 

 

However, if the speed reducer is not used for a long time to replace the lubricating oil, if it is operated at high speed, the internal lubricating oil will become extremely thick and may contain impurities. This can lead to two outcomes. One is abnormal noise, and the other is temperature rise. 

  

When the lubricating oil thickens and contains impurities, it will accelerate the wear between the gearbox gears. The gear of the reducer may wear out, and the influence of more and more impurities on the gear will be greater and greater. This causes abnormal noise, which may be uneven. In addition, due to the increase in friction, the temperature will also increase. 

 

When there is only one ventilation hole, the internal heat generated by friction cannot be discharged in time, so the temperature will become higher and higher. By replacing the lubricant, the new lubricant can reduce friction while preventing more heat generation. Friends who use Taiwan reducers may ask whether they need to replace the lubricant?
